A free, no-install PWA the worker shares with up to 4 family members. They see a green dot when the shift is live and a timestamp when the last welfare check landed. No GPS, no vitals, no other workers — until an SOS fires, when emergency mode unlocks what3words and incident detail for the people who'd run to help.
We've been asked many times for “just give my mum live GPS” — and we've held the line every time. A worker needs a safe space at work. Family needs to know they're OK. Both can be true.
When an SOS fires, family contacts get a one-time notification with the worker's what3words location and the incident severity — so they can drive to the right place if that's appropriate. Emergency mode auto-revokes when the incident closes.
From the worker app. Types in partner's phone number. Hits Send.
“Sam invited you to follow their shifts on Vygard. Tap to open: vygard.fam/abc123.” One-tap deep-link to the PWA — no app install, no account.
Add-to-home-screen icon prompt fires automatically. From then on, family sees a single tile: green dot for on-shift, last ack time. That's it.
No per-family-seat fee on any plan — Starter, Pro or Enterprise. Worker controls who's on the list and can revoke any contact instantly. Beyond 4, Enterprise plans can request larger family circles for nominated next-of-kin groups.
Spin up the demo, invite yourself as family, and see exactly what the green dot looks like at 23:47 when your partner is still on shift.
